Research Management and Program Evaluation
Julia is a research and evaluation consultant who lives and works on the traditional, unceded territory of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Mississauga Nations. She joined Changemark because she is committed to creating safe and supportive environments for people with lived experience through mutual learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based practices, and cultural attunement. Since conceptions of health and wellbeing are individualized and community priorities are dynamic, Julia seeks to recenter those whom the research is for as holders of relevant knowledge and perspectives.
Julia has a background in community-engaged health promotion research. She has worked with diverse populations and settings including youth, older adults, persons with disabilities, newcomers, rural communities, and Latin American communities in the areas of health behaviours and environmental supports for health and wellbeing.
In the last four years, Julia has gained experienced with both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She continuously develops her skills in conducting interviews and focus groups, qualitative analysis, and statistical analysis. Julia has contributed to and produced a variety of research products including systematic reviews, literature reviews, tool development and adaptation, and knowledge translation materials.
